I've written hundreds of articles for some of the largest newspapers in the nation, as well as other media outlets and web properties. I've edited countless more. I produce clean copy, whether on a tight deadline or a loose one. Below is a small sample of my work.
CreditCards.com
CreditCards.com is a personal finance website owned by Bankrate, Inc.
My role of Managing Editor involved more editing than writing. I've helped lead the site's coverage of breaking news, including releases from the Federal Reserve. I've managed a team of about 10 freelancers. However, I do write occasionally about personal finance issues and provide information to help consumers make smart decisions about handling credit cards.
- Federal Reserve leaves interest rates unchanged once again
- Before crash, we spent more, liked it less
- You are your own best credit repair company
- Chinese credit card market nearly doubles in a year
KXAN.com
KXAN is the NBC-TV affiliate in Austin, Texas.
Wrote only sparingly, but edited on a daily basis. For more than six years, guided the station's online coverage of countless major news events, including: the terror attacks of September 11, 2001; national and local elections; and severe weather incidents.
American Banker
American Banker is the leading news publication serving the banking and financial services community.
Wrote about banking regulatory compliance, including features, profiles and news stories.

Wrote nearly 300 stories for sports section, including game stories, news reports and profiles.
