CreditCards.com - Managing Editor
CreditCards.com is a credit card marketplace and personal finance news website owned by Bankrate, Inc.
- Helped lead editorial team to fivefold increase in news page views in less than 18 months.
- Led internal execution of online town hall on credit card reform done in cooperation with the White House in February 2010.
- Lead creation of site's video content, including scripting, shooting and editing web content and coordinating and producing live satellite interviews with local TV stations around the U.S, such as those in New York City and Phoenix.
- Supervise one full-time employee, one part-time employee and 8 to 12 freelance writers.
AustinPost.org - Editorial Adviser
AustinPost.org is a nonprofit news website based in Austin, Texas.
- Advise site's management team -- on an as-needed, pro-bono basis -- regarding various aspects of running a news website.
- Provide guidance on site redesign, which is set to launch sometime in 2011.

KXAN is the NBC affilate in Austin, Texas, and is owned by LIN Broadcasting. The CW Austin is also owned by LIN and operates out of the same offices as KXAN.
- Oversaw all aspects of web content for the highest trafficked local news website in Austin.
- Generated steady year-to-year traffic increases for my entire six-year tenure.
- Guided the station's web news coverage -- including coverage of the Sept. 11 attacks, several state and national elections and numerous severe weather events.
- Teamed with marketing to produce web content geared to strengthening the TV stations' brands.
- Collaborated with the sales team to create compelling content that led to site becoming profitable for first time.
- Developed the site's mission statement. Led numerous site redesigns and other major content launches.
- Supervised two full-time employees and two interns; managed several third-party relationships and occasional freelancers.
Austin360.com - Sports Content Manager
Austin360.com is a Cox website and is aligned with the Austin American-Statesman.
- Oversaw all content on five Cox-Austin sports websites
- Supervised a staff of two full-time employees and several freelance staffers

- Acted as liaison with staff of site's sister publication, the Austin American-Statesman
