My day job
I am Chief Credit Analyst at LendingTree. During more than a decade in the personal finance space, I have appeared on many of the nation’s best-known news outlets, such as:

Prior to my current role at LendingTree, I was Senior Industry Analyst at CreditCards.com for more than four years. Before that, I worked as a journalist. I led online editorial teams for an investing education website, two TV stations, a college sports website and a newspaper. I found my true passion, however, in helping people make smarter decisions about their money.
My book

My fundraising
My father passed in October 2020 after a long battle with multiple forms of cancer. Since he got sick, I’ve committed myself to raising money to wipe that disease off the face of the Earth. My life
I live with my wife and son in Austin, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas with a journalism degree. I love to run and hike and do obstacle course races. (I’m doing my fifth Spartan Race in September of 2022.) I geek out about sports, travel, food and Star Wars, but mostly, I’m about spending as much time with my family as I can.
